Visit Mexico City
Visas, Immigration and Citizenship
Any person who is not an Australian citizen requires a visa to enter Australia (except New Zealand citizens).
IMPORTANT: Do not book flights and make irreversible travel commitments until it has been granted a visa to travel to Australia. The Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) is not liable for financial losses incurred by customers whose applications have been finalized after the scheduled date of travel, or in cases where the visa has not been approved.
Visa applicants in Mexico that apply for your Australian visa will receive a letter by email which will be required to appear at the Centers for biometric data capture (ABCC) to provide their biometric. Applicants must submit this letter when attending the ABCC.
