Visa issuance
The granting of visa Philippines is just a form of pre-entry authorization. Immigration officers have the authority to grant or refuse entry to a foreigner on arrival at any port of entry in the Philippines. A foreigner with a visa from the Philippines is subject to the rules of immigration controls at the port of entry in the Philippines.
Validity of Visa
The period of validity of a visa indicates the time in which they can make entry to the Philippines. No indicates the time of legal stay in the Philippines. Those with non-immigrant visa and wish to extend their stay over fifty-nine (59) days in the Philippines, need to request an extension in the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation (Magallanes Driver, Port Area, Manila) and pay inscriptions immigration.
Claiming a Visa Application
Visa applications must be submitted in person. If a minor (under eighteen years of age), the visa application can be delivered on his behalf by a person to submit documentary evidence to be the legal guardian.
You can claim the approved visas after two (2) business days.
Documentary Requirements for Non-Immigrant Visa
1. A Visa Application form duly filled (AF Form 2A). All data must be written in the form in capital letters;
2. The original passport (valid for at least six months past the stay in the Philippines) and a photocopy of the data page of the passport;
3. The original and a photocopy of the ticket roundtrip indicating the arrival and departure of the Philippines; and
4. Two (2) photographs taken within the last six (6) months.
Attention: Applications that do not have all the documentary requirements will not be processed. The visa office may request additional documents.
